open dump: uncovered site used for disposal of waste without environmental controls (see dump).
organic: referring to or derived from living organisms; organic food standards are regulated by the USDA.
ozone depletion: destruction of stratospheric ozone layer which shields earth from ultraviolet radiation harmful to life.
ozone layer: protective layer in atmosphere, about 15 miles above ground, that absorbs ultraviolet rays.
ozone safe: claim implies it contains no chemicals that will deplete the upper ozone nor contribute to ground ozone.
