endangered species: organisms threatened with extinction by man-caused or natural changes in environment.
energy recovery: obtaining energy from waste through a variety of processes (e.g. combustion).
enforcable: conditions or limitations where non-compliance results in civil or criminal action under federal or state laws.
environment: sum of all external conditions affecting the life, development and survival of an organism.
epa: environmental protection acency; develops and enforces regulations, environmental laws enacted by Congress.
ethanol: alternative automotive fuel derived from grain and corn, usually blended with gasoline.
extremely hazardous: any of 406 chemicals identified by EPA as toxic.
